A SMALL SPACE TO RELAX Decor in a home can really make it feel like a new place. simple changes from a lamp to an art piece. There is nothing more relaxing then a long warm soak during the cold winter months and the idea of a spa feeling is ideal.  For the last few years, we have been working on changing things. Two areas  that i am really frustrated with are small areas but really need something done -  namely the WC and the bathroom. The WC is basically a smaller version of a half bathroom, minus a sink (something i still am not use too).  The space is small and boring.  The other space is the washroom  which includes the washer dryer, sink and tub.   Again not a big space and lacking storage.  Nowhere to hang towels or store personal items. STLYISH BLAZERS for EVERYDAY I have a thing for blazers, I can't resist a great blazer. It might not be for everyone, but there is one thing that i like about blazers - they go with most things. Over a simple dress, pair of slacks or a skirt. THE CHALLENGE?  I have seen several bloggers, celebrities have been sharing photographers for the 10 year challenge. It looks fun and also interesting, to see how little some have changed.  For those people who are technology experts there are some points they have shared about this challenge. One is that it could be a way to collect personal information, and used for other purposes. Face  recognition is one technology that has advanced greatly over the years. Also, the fact the challenge  it is unknown who or where it started makes one wonder. Many people share their photos via  social media, and it is definitely not ending.  But like the expert says; "your face is your fortune, it is undeniably YOU and used for ID." A TOUCH OF GLAM Sometimes its nice to get dressed up and wear something glamorous or sparkly. I have a thing for sparkly accessories. Whether its a diamond ring, earrings or any jewelry.  Of course I can't afford  to get a collection of previous stones , but its nice to have a few other pieces.  Here is one of my recent purchases that I thought , Why not? SNOW SNOW SNOW OH NO! T he last few weeks have reeked havoc in many parts of Europe, with roads  closed, train service shutdown and high avalanche warning in many places. I kid you not the snow is nearly 3 meters high in places.  So many people needed to be rescued from their homes. Well some are stuck,  one surprise was reading Baywatch star David Hasselhoff was stuck in the Austrian snow also,  well wowee what a SURPRISE, guess he forgot his rescue buoy thing: To my surprise he is  very popular in Germany , and visits often.   He posted on his instragram his adventure for anyone interested. Just a brief post , as I try to organize things around here and get back into the swing, 'Hope everyone had a great weekend, if not this photo might help.

EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK  YOU WILL SEE THEM. ON PURSES, ON BELTS, ON SHIRTS... THE WORLD HAS GONE LOGO CRAZY. I MIGHT LOVE THE PURSES OF SOME DESIGNERS  OF COURSE,  AND ITS THE QUALITY OF THE ITEM THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT .- WELL MADE AND LONG-LASTING. FOR SOME THE IDEA OF SPENDING THOUSANDS ON A DESIGNER ITEM IS NOT POSSIBLE.  I WOULD LOVE A CLOSET FILLED WITH DESIGNER ITEMS,  THEN WHAT GIRL WOULDNT, RIGHT? BUT INSTEAD I FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH SOMETHING  I WONT WORRY ABOUT SPILLING A DRINK ON, OR PEN MARKS . I HAVE HAD THAT HAPPEN, RUINED THE PURSE .  PERHAPS A SCARF, BELT OR SUNNIES ARE THE ITEM TO GET- PLUS THEY TAKE UP LESS SPACE.  AND WONT KILL YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. BUT REALLY  CONFIDENCE ONE HAS IN ONESELF IS  MORE IMPORTANT,  YOU CAN WEAR A UNKNOWN ITEM OR DESIGNER-  CONFIDENCE IS KEY.  CLOTHES  ARE ONLY PART OF IT.   OF COURSE WHEN WE FEEL AND LOOK GOOD THEN IT SHOWS , WITH OUR...

NEW YEAR, NEW STYLE? The new year is usually when we make changes or want to. OUR hair is one easy way to make a change to our looks. I know the BOB is BACK.  It is a nice style for most hair types and ages.  Basically i would say it is a Classic cut. But if you are not sure about cutting your hair there are other ways to change your look. So lets talk hair  and accessories, Hair Accessories are  really coming back; from the scrunchy to barrettes , scarfs and headbands.  I had a great collection of accessories, that were one way to change my hairstyle. HOW TO REALLY ENJOY THE WONDERFUL WINTERLAND that is one way to look at... others might not agree. Some parts of Europe  have been  hit by excessive amounts of snow up to 3M . Roads are closed , ski hills  and avalanche warnings are extreme.  So well we dig out from the snow , i think about  times when I lived where it was so cold snowy , i call polar conditions. The only way to survive is keep warm , enjoy it the best you can or stay in.  MY ideal winter plan is to enjoy it and do things that are fun. Bring out  the XC skis,  the backpack and thermos.  Dress warm and  have FUN. Some ways to really enjoy the winter outdoors,  WAYS TO ENJOY WINTER OUTDOORS  BACKYaRD FUN Set up fire pit , roast marshmallows or frankfurters , or beans. HOW GREAT WAS IT? Welcome to the New Year everyone! I guess most of us made it through the holidays with many happy memories and special moments.  I will say ours was a very quiet event, other then New Years eve was extremely loud, all over the city people were setting off fireworks.  But all in all it was a great night  with a few traditional things like the GLucksbringers . A lucky treat or goodie, that is eaten , then before midnight a british comedy skit is shown called, Dinner for one. It is so popular here and in Germany.   So the celebrations are over and it seems  like a daze to me.  How quickly it came and went.  Its the start of the new year and many of us make a list of resolutions.  Sometimes it works, sometimes not.   I will say i am not one to make a list (other then grocery list, or other necessary things).   But I can see why some do,, its like a kick start into getting going.   The only thing ...
