MAY oh MY.....

It seems like the month of april went by so quickly and now its the first of May.
A national holiday here and in other parts of world it is celebrated.

April was superb , the weather was gorgeous, sunny and warm. And with the easter holiday,

birthdays to celebrate and visitors it seemed to fly by - not to forget the GoT series couldn't miss that! I do enjoy the season and spring ,but it seems to always come and go to fast for my liking.

Well after all the celebrations I was feeling so tired. Plus I took some time off to prepare.

(renovation or assembling new bookcases) Now the place is what i would say a bit of a mess.

The bedroom has some clothes piled on the bed (sweaters from winter) , books piled up,

advertising flyers on kitchen counter, etc.... sorry sight to see. But I really am so tired

I felt like I ran a marathon. Whether it was the excitement , stress or the spring changes,

One thing I use to do when city life got to me, I would pack our suitcase,

head to the lake and RELAX.

Yes NATURE and the outdoors is a cure. The solitude, the quiet, the sounds of the birds singing and the wonderful fresh air does wonders for ones mind and body.

JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Getting outdoors, breathing the cool fresh air and just going to walks or bike rides can be

the ultimate pick me up. But even in the city there are wonderful places to explore, pathways,

parks and sitting by the water and watching the sailboats drifting by.
There are even places to rent a boat. So what more can you ask for!

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. Pockets please!!/ fashion

Well as the title says…. Pocket s please! This week has been a very painful week. I recently injured my knee badly. Not able to move stand or walk. When finally bit better I finally managed to move . I needed something to wear that I could put my phone in , glasses medicine in. Any dress I thought I could use didn’t have pockets for anything. Why??? When I think back there usually were pocket inserts nicely sewn on inside of slacks or dresses. Now you rarely find that . I guess it’s a cost saving , less material needed and no extra time used sewing a pockrr er r in. Maybe it’s to give an outfit a more neat look, no bulging pockets. Meanwhile mens wear there are always pockets. Do you like outfit with pockets?

WHAT WAS POPULAR in 2020 Top posts of the year were a mix, but the one that was most popular was the TOUCH OF GOLD, followed by fashions, and people seemed to be interested in a few gardening DIYS, which was a kind of a surprise .
