THE 5 SUMMER TRENDS I LOVE// fashion

ALL THE THINGS I LOVE THIS SUMMER💿

Yes its the first week of June  and it really feels like summer now, with the hot weather we are getting. I really am not fond of the heat, so for me it is important to be cool and comfortable.
Finding clothes that are comfortable and cool are crucial. Of course the looser the fit the better
and the type of material it is made of is another important factor.

The summer trends that work for me

The SLIP DRESS, YES!
The one nice thing about this is how easy to wear, light and comfortable a slip dress is.
I don't have to decide what top to wear with one, but also it is so easy to slip on!
If one does not like the satin look, then another style in a nice print  perhaps a gingham or
another fabric, whether cotton or linen.

Keeping COOL in the summer is number 0NE!

SUN HATS and SUNSCREEN
We all know how important sunscreen is, it is a must! I also like the idea of a sunhat when out walking  or sitting in the sun. (though I prefer the shade) it is really a great thing to wear,
and more then ever , now that the temperatures are rising every summer.
Also the selection of sunhats is a amazing, from extra wide brims, to smart looking panama hats.
there is something for everyone.

Get inspiration from Chanel.

NATURAL FABRICS
the only way to go , on a hot summer day a  linen or cotton dress is really the most comfortable and cool outfit. Natural fabric and clothing are getting easier to find compared to before, much was made of polyester synthetic materials.   I always liked the coolness of cotton the colours and prints of some really are what can make an outfit.  Whether you like a dress with some crochet , or seersucker material. My pick is anything in cotton or linen will do.

SEASHELLS GALORE
the sea is a  great place to be in the summer, and seashells are really HOT this season.

From bracelet to necklaces they are everywhere. It looks lovely worn with a simple sundress or shorts. Plus you don't really have to be so worried about losing it like a gold bracelet .

WICKER BAGS
the little wicker bag is BACK. Yes it returned this summer with even more gust. I love wicker and the lightness of the material.   It really adds a lot to an outfit and is fun too. Not so formal .
We all know how that french girl got the fashion world hooked on the basket.

So definitely get yourself something in wicker, it will last your years and be so versatile. There are so many looks and styles to find.

So really now I am set for the summer heat - how about you?

CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

SPRING LOOK //Fashion , Style, Spring

Time for some color  Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color .  One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design.  It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long  , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery.
