SUNDAYS.... the best day of the week

A do nothing day!  perhaps not, but it is a day where I like to relax, read, watch a movie.

We had are first snowfall yesterday, I am like a kid when is snows, personally I love winter!
Its the whiteness that covers the ground and makes everything look sparkly and fresh.
And the idea of heading out to ski is also  why I love the winter season

But there are days when I am looking forward to other things.















Here are a few things I am looking forward to this year -

  • the OSCARS - always loved to see the fashions, the stars and movies in general, so this year will be exciting.  (Brad Pitt is one of my favs to win) 
  • SPRINGTIME - the garden  , lavender  and roses  are  my favourites and last summer had success with a lavender plant.  Lavender sachets for the room closet   are heavenly.
  • Birthday TRIP - planning a trip is always something exciting, even a short weekend is wonderful.🎈🎉
  • The new BOND movie - action, 007 and the places, whats not to love! one of  my favourite films 🎥
  • Riding the bike , something I look forward to each spring. 🚴🚲
  • Seeing FAMILY - a chance to see family is always special
  • Going to the museums and galleries  - fantastic art and galleries always something I want to visit.
  • Checking out more CAFES,  there are so many stunning cafes, the city is known for , so will have to make a list of those we need to visit. 🍶
  • A trip to the seaside , there is nothing like the smell of the sea and the sounds of the bird this is something i really miss.🏊  🌊

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala  .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical  looks.  Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers.  My favorite look was Demi Moore’s  gorgeous gown  a really stunning dress.. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

SPRING LOOK //Fashion , Style, Spring

  Time for some color  Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color .  One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design.  It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long  , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery.
