TASTY DELIGHTS AND MORE

I am not a keen chef, but we do like to try different types of foods. From Mexican , Italian or chinese. I will say Austrian food can be a bit bland for my taste buds. Something with some spice is what I need now and then.

So I have two super simple dinner recipes that I make.
Hopefully enjoy these easy recipes.

Mexican Chicken w salsa. only 3 things needed for this delicious dish.

Chicken breasts, salsa and cheddar cheese. single portion or more as needed

Fry the chicken till cooked thorough , place chicken in a dish, add scoops of salsa to cover each chicken breast, top with slices of cheddar cheese. Place in microwave oven 2-3 minutes till cheese is melted. time depends on the microwave power.

Serve with cooked rice and a salad.

Sweet sour MEATBALLS

ground beef, salt pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, soya sauce vinegar, pineapple chunks

season the beef with salt and pepper , form ground beef into balls , pan fry till brown.
Place in slow cooker or pot.

SAUCE
Combine 1 cup ketchup, 1 tbsp soya sauce, sugar and vinegar as per taste mix together
Pour the mixture over the meatballs. till covered.

Add chunks of pineapple to the meatball mixture
You can also use a vegetable instead, sliced carrots or both.

Cook in slow cooker till hot and meat is cooked through.
Stove top let simmer over stove 30 minutes on medium heat Stir occasional to prevent sticking.

Serve with rice.

FUNNY cute FILMS there is nothing like watching a good movie to end the day.
And more so then ever. takes ones mind off things and can relax one. So here are a couple you
might enjoy to see.

Babies
the most adorable film which is like a documentary. It follows 4 babies through the first years of their lives, from Mongolia, Africa, Japan and USA. I love this film, its just so cute , funny and adorable to see how they all live and grow in totally different circumstances.

Whatever Works comedy romance
A simply funny film when a man meets a girl and their new life together in NY.
Their friends and family also are part of this story, so it adds some very unusal interest.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

SPRING LOOK //Fashion , Style, Spring

Time for some color Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color . One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design. It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery.
