CHANGES....  NOT JUST THE SEASONS  I TS FALL AND WE CAN FEEL A CHANGE IN THE AIR.  IT HAS COOLED DOWN ALOT  AND THE WEEKEND WAS RAINY ALL DAY.  IT CERTAINLY FRESHENED THE AIR OUTSIDE. NEEDLESS TO SAY DIDNT GO ANYWHERE. STUCK CLOSE TO HOME AND BASICALLY PUTZED AROUND THE PLACE.  THE  USUAL WEEKEND HOUSEHOLD THINGS WHICH BRINGS ME TO THE TOPIC ON THIS POST. A FEW THINGS TO READ  (OR COMMENT ON) A FEW MONTHS AGO I READ AN INTERESTING ARTICLE ABOUT HOW THE WOMEN IN INDIA WERE PROTESTING OR PETITIONING  THAT THE MEN NEED TO HELP OUT MORE AROUND THE HOUSE.  HMM  THUMBS UP TO THAT.   THE WOMEN ARE WORKING AS WELL AS THE MEN , BUT WITH THE LOCKDOWN, THEIR HOUSEKEEPERS WERE NOT ABLE TO COME WORK.  SO THEY WERE LEFT TO DO THE WORK THEMSELVES.  NOT MANY HOUSEHOLDS IN EUROPE OR NORTH AMERICA  WILL HAVE A HOUSEKEEPER OR EVEN AN NANNY. ALL SET FOR FALL?  SOME IDEAS TO GET YOU READY.  Yes it is nearly of the end of September , as we head into the fall season. The month of October brings the chillier mornings, sometimes wind and rain. When the temperatures start to cool down drastically then I start to get the urge to wear more cozy things. LONG CARDIGANS  the best  idea to wear come fall   I have a thing for a nice cardigan coat, they are warm and comfortable to wear, with a bit of stretch. It is one piece of clothing that lasts years and never goes out of style. Plus you can change the look of it simply , by adding different belts.  These are some of my favourites,  have been looking for one with a hood , that can be worn when the wind blows, added protection . 3 CARDIGANS STYLED FOR FALL NOW WE ARE SET FOR THE FALL .

  SUMMER NIGHT at the PALACE The Schoenbrunn Schloss is the former summer palace of the Emperor  , it was rebuilt in the 1800s  There are the magnificent gardens, Neptune and Obelisk fountains, the Palm House conservatory and the famous zoo.   September .... fall and what to expect.  Well there are a few fashion shows  but this year it doesn't really feel so Special or as exciting sadly.  I guess with all the things going on in the world, fashions aren't TOP of the List this year.   After being stuck at home for the last few months, the only thing that is of interest is wearing comfortable clothes,  clearing out things and fixing up  inside or outside, setting up fitness space and planning the garden .  This week was such great weather , we could sit outside and really enjoy it more. But i noticed the flowers have started to die back, leaves are brown , so it looks dreadful. Then a idea popped into my head - why not try composting?  With some of the household  and garden things,  it is possible to make compost. THE WFH STYLE - BLOUSES I find after so many months of having to adjust to doing things differently, the things I would wear to go to work has been completely pushed to the back of the closet. Its been the casual comfortable  items I would wear, especially the more sportswear items. But there are days I feel like getting a bit more stylish.  Knits and sweater are still to warm to wear and sleeveless is to chilly, but a long sleeve blouse to shirt is ideal. These blouses caught my eye from casual to a more dressy look. What have you been wearing , when working from home? LAST DAYS OF SUMMER Well September started off being chilly, it  didn't last long and we were back to the warmer temperatures, just not such intense heat, as the evening cools down nicely. Well the summer season is nearly over, there is still the chance to enjoy the outdoors. We decided to take a small city adventure and check out the boating places. That is one thing about the city there several places to rent a boat or paddle boat to enjoy a trip along the old and new danube.  Not only that there are some wonderful places to stop and eat. THE DIFFERENT WORLD Here like many other places , we have had to make some big changes in our lifes.  I don't want to be writing about the  pandemic so much , as it is something  we all are aware of and know the things we have to do to keep ourselves safe from catching the virus. But still we have to get back to some kind of normalcy.  We have to make some changes to how we go about our lives  From work, to travel , to our social life. Getting AROUND How to be safe well taking the bus or subways.  Well that is something I have to wonder. I read it important to have proper air circulating ,FRESH AIR IS IMPORTANT whether at home, or indoors . The transport systems I am sure are making sure it is safe and properly disinfected.  Open windows to give a space fresh air is recommended , as it helps to disperse things in the air. TIME TO EXPLORE ..VENICE FILM FESTIVAL The Venice Film Festival is underway, but some how this year it doesn't seem to be much in the spotlight. I am a big film fan,  and whats not to love to see things in Venice. One of Europe's most spectacular city. Known for its fabulous architect, the canals and gondolas, the Carnival and of course the film festival. There are some very interesting things to see , plus the fashions are always worth taking a look at. SIMPLE WAYS TO CHANGE YOUR OUTFITS Do you have a certain outfit you wear daily or more often?  I admit I sometimes don't always feel like changing my outfits everyday. Number 1, it usually is because a outfit is more comfortable and easier to wear then others. i.e. example being my go to outfit in a hurry.  The simple dress with blazer standby.  But one thing I always do if  I am wearing it so often is change the accessories, jewelry  is the one way I like to do that, then the shoes or purse.
