SUMMER NIGHT at the PALACE

The Schoenbrunn Schloss is the former summer palace of the Emperor , it was rebuilt in the 1800s There are the magnificent gardens, Neptune and Obelisk fountains, the Palm House conservatory and the famous zoo. The oldest zoo in Europe.

An evening at the Summer night Concert 2020

Much to my surprise the amazing summer night concert was held this week , only with a lot less people not the usual 100,000 but only a 100. The event is free but this time tickets were issued for those people that were picked.

Normally it is held end of May or first week in June. but of course things changed .I was not expecting it to be held at all. So like I said a big surprise and a great one. This is what the city is famous for its music and this concert of course.

It was broadcast live so one could watch it and even though less people it was a beautiful thing to see.

The music was dedicated to LOVE, what a beautiful way to share such an event.

I am not really a great opera fan, but when the singer sang the Nessun Doma , the song made famous when Pavarotti sang it, it was a WOW moment for me made me feel that things will get better, even in these times of the COVID.

There is hope and love.

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

Favorite things I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023. Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea of shopping my closet or using what I have . Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly. The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again. Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring. The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece. The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents. It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it. ...
