THE THREE WELLS..... // Lifestyle, fashion, travel wellness

WELL READ , WELL TRAVELLED & WELL DRESSED

These words popped into my head the other day.... thinking about how some people are just that.  Someone you meet randomly and started a conversation with.  Its those few moments that you get a impression of what  that person is like.  Impressions ... how quickly the mind makes a mental note of the meeting.   Is there someone you know that strikes you like that?

WELL READ

Reading.. I love books to look at for inspiration, for letting my mind wonder and dream, or solve the story  Mysteries were one of my favourites. During the pandemic I thought i would look at reading some books that I might not normally read, so my idea was to start to read some of the books that were awarded the Nobel Peace prize. A good idea!  So to start the reading journey i started with love.(love in the time of Cholera)  and i am still reading it. Its a love story and one worth a read if you like romance.

What books have your been reading lately?

WELL TRAVELLED

How much did you miss the daily outings or travels?
I for one seem to have come to love being home, sitting outside and enjoying the place more then ever. What a difference.  Of course now that things are getting back to normal I we might take a trip later in the fall, once its safe to journey more places.  I have always loved to travel, explore , see different places. Could be anywhere, not just the more touristy places - from the smaller cities and towns to the great outdoors. There is always something interesting to see.

Are you planning any trips this summer? Where to?

WELL DRESSED

There is something about a person that is well dressed... they are noticeable memorable . But then I think its not only about looking trending or following trends, it also the confidence that one exudes or the quality of the things worn,  A well tailored suit or dress,  is what really is noticeable.   It doesn't always have to be designer, a mix is good.

I try to stick to the classic pieces and add a few small trendy pieces i.e. jewelry or a purse. But usually I pick what  i love.  Keeping to basic classics is always a good start.  It might seem boring , but it is a base to start with.

LOVE this check biker style blazer  a bit of a modern twist on a blazer.

  1. Loved this post by the way! Such a great idea. I would enjoy hearing more about what you’ve been reading whether that’s mysteries or Nobel Peace Prize awarded. While I love being home, I miss traveling too; I liked visiting Haworth last year in the Spring. I mostly like dressing in classic pieces too. :-) xx

Pockets please!!/ fashion

Well as the title says…. Pocket s please!  This week has been a very painful week. I recently injured my knee badly. Not able to move stand or walk. When finally bit better I finally  managed to move . I needed something to wear that I could put my phone in , glasses medicine in. Any dress I thought I could use didn’t have pockets for anything.  Why???  When I think back there usually  were pocket inserts nicely sewn  on inside of slacks or dresses.  Now you rarely find that .  I guess it’s a cost saving , less material needed and no extra time used sewing a pockrr er r in.  Maybe it’s to give an outfit a more neat look, no bulging pockets.   Meanwhile mens wear there are always pockets.  Do you like outfit with pockets?
