HEALTHY TO A POINT


I am like most people I would say, I eat less fat foods, try to eat more healthy  and drink more fluids. Fresh fruits and vegetables are one of my most favourites, especially right from the garden. The ripe tomatoes, fresh lettuces, cucumbers. If you live somewhere were the climate is  ideal for gardening it is a bonus. And especially living in Austria the milder weather makes it perfect. There are places that have their own fruit trees from cherries , apples and apricots. 

I also do take multi vitamins and other needed things. The supplements are important for ones body. (after checking with the doctor and finding out I had low iron and potassium).

Vitamin D is one that has many benefits according to a study. People living in the northern hemisphere are lacking Vitamin D. The normal way to get D is through exposure to the sun, and well it is darker in the fall we are less outdoors and exposed to the suns rays. 





Drinking more is not a problem for me, we picked up a sodastream and I fill the  bottles with  water daily.  Some people drink teas or coffees more.   Teas such as green tea is one that has been popular. But there are also supplements available.  The benefits that are mentioned its  antioxidant properties, reported to help lose weight and even help prevent cancer.  Anyone who takes green tea supplements should be careful.  Recent news report of damage to liver , kidneys and other issues have been reported in America and Canada.  This is a very serious health matter, as one man needed to have a liver transplant after taking green tea supplements.  


So staying healthy is important, but be careful of some health products and always check with your doctor before taking anything new  be it health supplements or medicines.

CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

 Doing Denim  I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable.  For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short.  I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days.  Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it.  Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets.  There are so many ways to style a denim dress.  A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses  I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck. 

Favorite Things 2023//fashion , items

 Favorite things  I really didn’t go overboard with any purchases in 2023.  Trying to keep to the sustainable fashion idea  of shopping my closet or using what I have .  Mind you there were somethings I thought about getting like a new pair of sunglasses, some shoes  sandals, new purse , but I still need new sunglasses. My old pair has some scratches on them sadly.  The two pieces I did get I absolutely love . Firstly a linen blend blazer in cream shade. It goes with so many things so can’t wait to spring to wear it again.  Also the new wrap dress I bought in spring.  The color I loved , the fit and style is nice to wear for dinners out, parties or weddings. A very versatile piece.   The other item was from a previous year but I had forgotten about it  was a nice surprise. I wore it over Christmas holidays. and got compliments on it . A knit top with sparkle accents.  It was so comfortable and warm . Absolutely loved it.  ...
