FASHION merry go round

After so many years of looking at fashion in the stores, magazines or fashion shows there are some things I would consider a good choice and some not so much. Some of the styles or trends that I find appealing and I think will last years

LOVING BERMUDA

I am really liking the Suits, be it a pant suit or the newest BERMUDA shorts suit.

The bermuda short is a practical piece for wearing in the summer, whether casual, business

or when travelling. A great piece to get!

SHOES i love shoes and the new look is one I can't resist, shoes with chains.

Looks like an ankle bracelet . so pretty and fun. You also can just wear an ankle bracelet with a pair of your shoes , looks that same.

LE VESTS another piece I find works well. Wearing it with a simple t-shirt, blouse or just the vest.

The vest worn over a t-shirt and a pair of bermuda shorts a very nice summer look. A vest can be worn in so so many ways, from casual to work. Think pair of jeans, dress slacks or a skirt worn with the vest. A versatile piece.

Luckily I have a few in my closet.

NOT CRAZY FOR

ADD on Collars those embroidered, granny looking victorian pieces don't appeal to me.

The BASEBALL hat, a nice practical thing to wear if out running or if you have a bad hair day
So if you like to get yourself a few , you be on trend.

BRA TOPS, when it s a hot day and your sitting out sunning yourself makes sense. But for me
it be bit to much to bare. wearing just that and no top.

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. CASUAL SUMMER LOOK//fashion , styling

Doing Denim I sometimes like to wear something that is just more relaxed and comfortable. For some it might be a pair of shorts, but I like a dress. Whether long or short. I just them more comfortable and airy on hot summer days. Denim is one look I like . It’s a casual look that can be dressed up or down, just by changing the accessories you wear with it. Heels or sandal. Simple jewelry, watch or bracelets. There are so many ways to style a denim dress. A great tote to carry the necessary items, sandals and sunglasses I would add a nice colorful scarf for the hair or simply wear tied around the neck.

SPRING LOOK //Fashion , Style, Spring

Time for some color Finally the weather is warmer and can wear lighter clothes. I especially like to start the summer/spring with some color . One of my favorites is a colorful knit on I bought years ago , a Liz Clairborn design. It’s a piece that just say spring is here. After a long , cold winter of wearing mostly dark or muted shades it’s nice to bring out something bright a cheery.
