Fashion is all about trends and being on top of the latest trends, for those that have a large following it is important to showcase those trends - be it designers or latest styles from other retailers.

Some trends were okay , some I wondered about. Here are some trends that had me wondering.

THE FURRY SLIPPER aka gucci

It was everywhere the furry slip-on shoe by GUCCI . Every influencer on instragram seemed to being wearing these fuzzy things. I love slippers or slip ons,, but truth is to me those furry things are more suitable in the bedroom. Reminded me of the leather slippers my dad would wear, minus the fur .

I did like the plain slip-on though , for a cool casual roundabout the house or errands.

Don't get me wrong I adore Gucci. The Belt and the purses.

PLASTIC BAGS and the ENVIRONMENT

Lately its been in the news plastic is polluting our planet. The water , the oceans and animals are found dead after eating the waste that is in the water.

So when Chanel came out with the see through plastic carry all , that made me wonder. PLASTIC IS PLASTIC and I am sure it was not a cheap price. I don't mind it for a makeup case or even a handy place to keep ones travel items contained .

THE UGLIEST SNEAKER

A trend according to some fashion reports.

The look of the chunky sneaker was everywhere. With long dresses, skirts or suits.

I don't mind sneakers or runners for serious walking or sports , but somehow they dont look so great with those maxi dresses. Perhaps if your running around a lot okay but have a spare shoe, be it a ballerina or nice low heel.

THE KEEPERS

WICKER EVERYWHERE

The things I found a trend that will be fashionable even years later, were the summery wicker purse,

The designs were amazing and came in so many shapes, sizes and looks. I would definitely invest in some more.

THE MULE

A great shoe that is easy to wear with most anything, for casual look , office , shopping or outings.

THE CLASSIC KITTEN HEEL

I am a major shoe lover! Heels I love, but lately I have had a love for a lower heel and kitten heels are just so perfect with most any outfit.

THE SOCK BOOT or ANKLE BOOTS

CUTE and comfortable, HANDS UP for the SOCK boot. Its a stylish boot that will last years. Worn with most any outfit , even those summery maxi skirts .

MET GALA 2024// fashion , MET gala

Fashions at the Met The time is here to see the fabulous fashions that are from this years Met Gala .Always aan eye popper and this year the theme was flowers botanical looks. Some very interesting creative fashions, especially if you love flowers. My favorite look was Demi Moore’s gorgeous gown a really stunning dress.. The bold big floral print on the dress was wow! I loved it! And she looked beautiful in it. The other gowns were lovely too. Men in floral print slacks to fun shoes . Something for everyone tastes. Keeping Warm - Fashion Style

POP of COLOR Yes it is something we all want need. Keeping warm in the cold winter months. One of favorite knit top has been my steady Look. The fact it has a large cowl neck collar that I pull up over my face when it’s windy outside. It is comfortable and feels cozy . The color is vibrant on those dull dreary days . A pop of color is nice to see during the winter season when mostly black seems to be the color of choice. The Accessories . I love to add a few accessories also. Bracelets add a little interest to the look . The three sterling silver bangles worn over sleeve looks good , as well as the multi twist bracelet. Ps The photo does not show the true color . It’s a very vibrant blue shade . Looks dull . After a few retakes no change. Camera issues.

DRESS. It up//fashion style

DRess It Up A simple grey knit top is something I had been looking for sometime. Grey is not usually my pick, but I thought time to try some other neutral shade. The top is tunic style and loose fitting . Definitely a comfort piece. I decided to add some different accessories to it. This shiny silver piece just a bit of interest to the plain top. Accessories are really a great way to give an outfit a different look. Love this multi strand necklace . It suits this knit top, not to delicate but fun and an interesting piece.
